WTF Mary!! We hear the old MJB showed up at her recent album release party at M2 Ultra Lounge in NYC Tuesday night.  Apparently Mary got hot when her husband Kendu was seen flirting, so she hauled off and slapped him in the face.

According to the rumor mill she then screamed: "You’re not going to ruin my night... What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?"

Wow...Four of her bodyguards and two of the club’s then kept them apart. Kendu was kicked out and MJB went to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup, but soon left.

Her rep said only, “People lie and don’t know what they’re talking about.”

BEYONCE & JAY-Z TO CHANGE NAMES???

Say it aint so Hov. Have some balls...OK! Mag is reporting that B and Jay-Z are planning to change their names. "Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z - who married in April 2008 - are to take on both of their respective surnames in order to keep the Sweet Dreams singer's parental line from dying out.Jay-Z – whose real name is Shawn Carter - will now be known as Shawn Knowles-Carter, while Beyonce is to become Beyonce Knowles-Carter.A source revealed: “They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves."

T.I. RELEASED

T.I. was officially been released from a low-security federal prison in Forrest City, Arkansas on Tuesday (December 22).


The rapper, born Clifford Harris Jr., is expected to report to Dismas Charities Atlanta West correctional center where he will spend three months.

T.I. was sentenced to 366 days in prison after an October 2007 incident, in which federal agents caught him attempting to purchase three machine guns and two silencers.

As a convicted felon, T.I. is prohibited from purchasing or carrying a firearm.

In March of 2009, he pleaded guilty to several federal weapons violations and was sentenced to serve a year in prison, as part of a plea deal reached with prosecutors.

He was fined $100,000 and ordered to completed 1,000 hours of community service prior to his jail time, which was documented on the MTV reality show, T.I.: The Road to Redemption.

After he has finished his stay at Dismas Charities Atlanta West, the rapper must complete 500 hours of community service, in addition to another 23 days of house arrest.

T.I. is expected to work during the three months he is confined to the halfway house.

THE KNOWLES TO DIVORCE

I held off on this one, but it looks like it may be true.


Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, has filed for divorce from the pop diva's father and manager, Mathew Knowles. Tina Knowles began legal proceedings Nov. 11, according to documents filed with the Harris County Court Clerk.

"The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners," the couple said in a statement provided to The Associated Press on Friday. "If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter."

The divorce filing came about a month after Mathew Knowles was named in a paternity suit. Los Angeles resident Alexsandra Wright claims in the lawsuit that he is the father of her unborn child.

Tina and Mathew Knowles wed in 1980. In addition to 27-year-old Beyonce, they have another daughter, 23-year-old singer Solange.

BRITTANY MURPHY DIES

TMZ reports that actress Brittany Murphy died Sunday morning after suffering full cardiac arrest.

An emergency call was made from the home of Murphy's husband Simon Monjack at 8am.

The star, 32, was pronounced dead on arrival after being taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Update: a source tells TMZ that Murphy's mother discovered her unconscious in the shower. When paramedics arrived, they determined that the actress was in full cardiac arrest and administered CPR. They continued their CPR attempts during the ambulance trip to the hospital, but Murphy was unresponsive.

You'll remember her from Clueless and 8 Mile.

CHRIS HENRY DIES IN TRUCK ACCIDENT

Cincinnati Bengals football player Chris Henry has died, police in Charlotte, North Carolina, confirmed Thursday.

Henry suffered "life-threatening injuries" after falling out of the bed of a pickup during a fight with his fiancee, police said earlier.

The incident occurred shortly before noon Wednesday when Henry's fiancee tried to drive off during a "domestic situation," only to have Henry jump into the bed of the truck, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a written statement.

"The domestic situation continued between the operator and Mr. Henry," according to a police statement. Henry "came out of the back of the vehicle" about six-tenths of a mile from the house, police said.

Henry was believed to be in critical condition after the wreck, the Bengals said in a statement on their Web site. Police said Henry underwent treatment at the Carolinas Medical Center hospital in Charlotte.

Charlotte is the home of his fiancee's family, the team said.

The 26-year-old receiver has played for the Bengals for five seasons, but has been on the injured reserve list after suffering a dislocated forearm during a November 8 game against the Baltimore Ravens. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Henry caught 12 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns in eight games before being hurt.

GV Says: This is sad....but help me understand what in the world happened here. I just don't get it. This domestic foolishness has to stop. When people are angry and want to walk away, let them. I sure hope this girl didn't do anything to hurt him and he left the truck on his own.

MINORITY REPORT: JON BOTTOMS OUT

We hear that Jon Gosselin may have bottomed out. The NY Daily News reports....

Last week, TLC successfully blocked Gosselin from making any profitable public appearances, causing the star’s livelihood to take a serious hit.

"Jon's in pretty serious financial trouble because his plan for making money was shut down in court,” the insider said. "He has warned his lawyers that he can't pay them and if he doesn't succeed against TLC, he will have no funds. He's even gone so far as to say that if they want to be paid, they will have to sue him."

Gosselin’s bills have been stacking up since his claim to fame, “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” was canceled this year in part to the drama from his pending divorce with his estranged wife and former co-star, Kate.

On Oct. 13, a judge ordered Gosselin to hand back $180,000 that he had withdrawn from the couple’s joint account. A few days later, TLC filed a suit against Jon for violating their contract by making paid and unpaid TV appearances on various media outlets without the network’s permission.

The embattled dad has since hired a father/son legal team recommended to him by Michael Lohan, another controversial dad in the media.

"Mark and Mike Heller were brought in because Michael Lohan was involved, and he convinced them to join Jon's team early on in the summer," the source said. "Lohan wanted to latch onto Jon and involved many people he knew. He convinced them Jon was going to have a successful career after the show."

The insider added that Gosselin, 32, is making no effort to find a legitimate job as he sinks deeper into debt.

"It's a good thing Kate Gosselin has been put in charge of the family funds that provide for the couple's eight children," said the spy. "She is the responsible parent."

Jon’s legal team have produced a written statement denying that their client is in the hole.

"Jon Gosselin’s New York lawyer has the highest regard for Jon Gosselin and will continue to work for Jon for as long as he requires their services," it reads. "The Hellers have no concern relevant to being paid by Jon for their services and see no circumstances under which they would ever sue Jon."

"This past year, Jon Gosselin was the most photographed man in America and appeared in more magazines than any other reality TV star," it continues. "Wherever he goes, there is an outpouring of love for him from his fans. And there is no doubt that he has a bright and shining career ahead of him."

Tisha Murphy, the wife of comedian Charlie Murphy, lost a two year battle to cancer this past weekend. She died in her sleep at the couple's home in New Jersey. Murphy and Tisha married in 1997 and have two children together.

LIL WAYNE GETS START DATE

Weezy was finally given a start date to serve his one year jail sentence after pleading guilty to weapons charges -- February 9th ...one week after his new album drops.



The charges date all the way back to July 22, 2007, when NYC police pulled over the rapper’s tour bus because they said they smelled pot. Cops claim that when an officer approached the bus, Lil Wayne threw out a bag with a gun inside. He pled guilty to attempted weapon possession on Oct. 22 this year.

R. KELLY TO PEN NEW BOOK

R. Kelly is planning to publish a memoir in 2011.


Kelly's book will be written with celebrity co-author David Ritz and published by SmileyBooks, an imprint run by talk show host Tavis Smiley. Kelly promises to "tell-all" about the loss of his mother, the motivation behind his sexually-charged lyrics and his six-year legal ordeal.

"I'm writing this book as Robert, not R. Kelly," the singer said in a statement. "I'm tired of being misunderstood. I will show you the tears, fears, and sweat. I will open my heart and reveal the good in my life as well as all the drama. I want to tell it like it is."

Kelly joins such other African-American authors as Dr. Cornel West, Henrey Louis Gates, Jr. and Jeff Johnson at Smiley's publishing company.

Kelly's tenth studio album, "Untitled," was released last week and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 114,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

ERYKAY BADU READIES FOR NEW ALBUM

Erykah Badu will release her sixth studio album, "New Amerykah, Part II: Return of the Ankh," on Feb. 23, 2010 on Universal Motown. The 38-year-old Dallas, Texas, born singer says the set is called "Part II" because unlike 2008's more conscious-driven "New Amerykah Part I: 4th World War," she is "more free and full of life" this time around.

"I called it 'Part II: The Return of the Ankh' because this album is the sister of the left side of my brain -- it is the right side," Badu explained during a listening session this week at New York City's Chung King Studios. "'Part I was the left side of my thoughts -- it was more socially political and my thought process was more analytical. This time there wasn't anything to be concerned with -- the album is more emotional and flowy and talks about feelings. It reminds of the days of 'Baduizm' -- this is just about beats and rhymes in a cipher."
